On March 24, 2000 the Electronic Union Catalogue of 8 Libraries of National Importance, organised by the Consortium of Library Information Network (now the State Agency “Culture Information Systems”), was launched. The Catalogue predominantly reflects the editions that have been added to the library collections after 1990, but new entries are regularly added to it. The NLL is responsible for the quality control of the entries and is creating its authoritative date base.
