Section 7. 

The National Library of Latvia shall distribute legal deposit copies received from the supplier in the following way:

1) to the National Library of Latvia:

a) 2 copies of each type of a printed publication,

b) 1 copy of each electronic publication,

c) 1 copy of each online publication,

d) 1 copy of each unconventional or “grey literature”;

2) to the Latvian Academic Library:

a) 2 copies of each type of a printed publication,

b) 1 copy of each electronic publication,

c) 1 copy of each unconventional or “grey literature”;

3) to the University Library of Latvia – 1 of each type of a printed publication and each electronic publication in the social sciences, humanitarian sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, information technologies and medical science;

4) to the Riga Technical University Scientific Library – 1 copy of each type of a printed publication and each electronic publication in the technical sciences and architecture;

5) to the Fundamental Library of the Latvian University of Agriculture – one copy of each printed publication and each electronic publication on the issues of agriculture, rural rights, rural development and sociology, water management, environmental management, veterinary medicine, forestry, woodworking, food technology, housekeeping and fishery;

6) to the Patent Technology Library of Latvia – one copy of each publication of a patent, normative-technical printed publication and electronic publication;

7) to the Medical Library of Latvia – one copy of each printed publication and each electronic publication on the issues of health and environmental protection, medical sciences and social care;

8) to the Latvian Library for the Blind – 1 copy of each publication for blind people;

9) to the Latgale Central Library – 1 copy of each book and brochure; and

10) to the Central Library of Liepāja – 1 copy of each book and brochure.
