The submitted materials must be original, i.e., they cannot be previously published or scheduled for publication in other editions.

The submitted manuscripts shall be edited.

The articles should be submitted to the editorial office in an electronic form.

Text  — Ms Word, paper size — A4, left, right, top and bottom margins  — 20 mm. Font — Times New Roman, font size 12 pt, paragraph spacing  — single,

paragraph indent  — 1.5 cm.  The text must be arranged in one column.

Pictures (figures, photos)   — JPG or TIF format, resolution no less than 300 dpi. Each picture should have a brief explanatory caption.

The preferable size of the article - 6-10 pages, including the illustrations.  Articles to be published in instalments may be longer.

The name, surname of the author/ authors, place of work and position, contact phone number, e-mail address should be supplied with the article.

A short summary of the article is preferable (up to 800 -1000 characters).

The terms, personal names, names of institutions in foreign languages should be transcribed into Latvian; the original spelling of them is to be provided in brackets.

The list of sources should be drawn in accordance with the following publication:
