On the RoadsDigital collection of maps and books are thematically related to travel, tourism and roads. Maps included in digital collection presents territory of Latvia and its neighbourhood countries in different time periods and are dating from 16th century to modern times. Those are different maps of roads and railways, old tourism maps and city plans. Oldest travel descriptions in Latvian and tourism guidebooks in Latvian, German and Russian, published in Latvia starting from second part of 19th century till 1950, are represented as textual part of this collection. |
