Participation in European and international projects
- TELPlus. A project funded by the European Commission under the eContentplus Programme, within the domain of ‘Digital Libraries’. Work package 1 (the project of texts recognition or OCR) and Work package 2 (OAI project).
- EDLNet - the cooperation in the network project of European museums, archives and libraries. The cooperation to establish uniform standards for the European Digital Library.
- TRIPOD (TRI-Partite Multimedia Object Description). The research project of the 6th Framework Program of the European Commission (FP6).
- Europeana Local. Best Practice Network project, funded under the eContentplus Programme of the European Commission. It is designed to involve and help local and regional libraries, museums, archives and audio-visual archives make the enormous amount of content that they hold available through Europeana (the European Digital Library) and deliver new services.
- Europeana Travel. Project funded by the European Commission within the area of Digital Libraries of the eContentplus Programme. Its overall objective was to digitise content on the theme of travel and tourism to be made accessible via Europeana, the European digital library, museum and archive.
- World Digital Library – NLL is World Digital Library partner organization in Latvia.
